Your daily work

Become part of cidaas, a leading cloud service in Europe, and work in an agile on the cidaas platform. Together with your development colleagues, you will work on new cool features and get the software off the ground, guide you through CI/CD pipelines and accompany you through deployment and operation. What would convince us in your profile?

• Hands On Experience in configuring and maintaining Cloud based Server Environments
• Experience in Configuring, optimizing, scaling up, monitoring and troubleshooting in Orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or DCOS or similar
• Expert level knowledge in Virtualizing concepts like Docker is a must
• Proficiency in Shell scripts, Ansible or such to achieve and maintain infra as code
• Proficiency in fundamental networking concepts and related hardware like switches, routers, firewall, BGP setup, VPNs and similar tools is required
• Expertise in Operating systems like Linux is required
• Expert level knowledge in setting up monitoring and analytical tools, node exporters, and visualization tools is required
• Good grasp of configuration and troubleshooting of applications like Apache, Nginx, Traefik, Kafka, Flink, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic Search, ELK, Prometheus, Graphana, Gitlab CI/CD, CEPH, HDFS and such will be preferred
• Experience with setting up of above-mentioned applications and clusters, scaling up such services will be needed.
• Hands-on experience in Load Balancers Firewalls, DNS configurations, SSL concepts and other security protocols will be needed.
• Working knowledge in Log file analysis, best standards in backup concepts, Disaster Recovery options are all an advantage
• Good logical thinking, programming capabilities and extreme troubleshooting will be an advantage
• Excellent Communication Skills and good team player with a deep sense of accountability
• Strong Problem- Solving Skills and systematic in approach
